Release them. Release them all. So many boxes. So many souls that have not seen the light of day for years. Do they even know where they are? Crammed with other pokemon that have not seen anything but some virtual space ever since they were caught. Why do you do this to pokemon? They feel, they think. They they wonder why you would put them here, why this world is not right, why have they been here for so long, and why would you put so many pokemon here to suffer the same fate. All for your "collection". For completing this...pokedex. Why? Listen to the pokemon. They say I don't want to be trapped in this place forever. I want to see the world. The real world. I want to feel the air and the ground under my feet. I want to feel the sun on my body, or to see the starry night. They want to feel loved and cared for, not to be abandoned and never seen again. Yes, release them and let them know what it is they have missed for so long, or is your heart beyond that of even the deepest darkness. I understand your pain. You do not need to accomplish anything to be noticed. If you truly love pokemon, then just being with pokemon is all you need. You do not need all the pokemon to understand them. Even just one will tell you everything you ever need to know. You don't even have to battle. Just spend time together, and you'll learn far more than all of your professors and champions put together. Yes, embrace your pokemon for what they are and not what some numbers or a book says they are.
