>>18288827In-Game is the only thing that should matter Re-tred. OP never even mentioned Competitiveness until his third post, how important could it even be. The in-game story is the thing I pay to play, not Battling or trading with some fag across the world.
If it is not careful Pokemon will soon become a game that is only catching Pokemon and Battling on-line with no story at all.
The whole thing is just a money spinner on the trends of the socially dependent (who aren't really sociable) needing to have some sort of interacting over a wire.
When Red and Blue were released in the 90's. I used to love getting together with friends and family to trade Pokemon. Pokemon has lost it soul, now it relies on selective breeding and training the perfect Pokemon so loser perfectionist can battle against other loser perfectionist in cock fights and shows of invisible geek dominance.
Phewww!!!!
>>18288873Noting casual about me Sonny-Jim. I'm playing X and Y on two different 3DSXL while posting in this thread.
I was at ground zero and loved Red/Blue.
Survived Gold/Silver
Loved Ruby/Sapphire (not Emerald)
Lost Interest at Diamond/Pearl.
Missing but never played Black/White
Back in with Black2/White 2
Loosing interest again with X/Y and the only thing to blame for me is the focus and emphasis on breeding on having an On-line presence with the GTS and WonderTrade being the only hope I have of having a Pokemon I want to use or completing the Pokedex or really enjoying this or any Pokemon game in the future.
Nothing casual here.
