Just bought Pokémon Blue and an original GameBoy online. Haven't played Blue since I was a kid. Can't wait for this nostalgia rush.
Anyone else done this?

Does Pokemon Stadium count as an emulator?

I've done something similar with and SNES and Super Mario World.
Recently though, I've been thinking of buying the old games because younger me destroyed them years ago. Although I have the roms on my GBA, so not sure if i should bother since its close enough to the original console.

SNES is a solid investment.I'm glad I still have mine. Can even give it to my children if I choice to have any.

GB + Pokemon Blue is terrible. There's nothing entertaining about it once you take the nostalgia goggles off.

Use the Ditto glitch to complete the dex, do it early as possible, miss as many trainers as possible to get the most hacks

It feels amazing btw,

Well, I still own a working Blue cartridge so I've replayed it many times. It doesn't give me that huge nostalgia rush anymore but it's still a good game and I play it for fun, just like with any other Pokemon game.
