Honestly the Eviolite portion is indeterminable. It comes down to whether it is coded as a variant of Floette or whether it's coded as it's own pokemon. A variant would probably get the boost, where as a separate entry wouldn't. I would think it's coded as a variant because they've already shown that they have no problem making closely related pokemon different species (Diancie).

I don't think it will strictly outclass Gardevoir because it's movepool is so shallow. Wish/Energy Ball/Psychic/Light of Ruin? Maybe sub out Psychic or Energy Ball for a Hidden Power? All the same I don't think it can compete with the physical fairy sweepers like Azumarill or M-Mawile.

I think we're missing the bigger picture here. The 6th gen sprites are not as a matter of opinion but as a matter of fact incredibly awful. Just because you are of the opinion of something that is factually bad is good doesn't make it true.

Not really. They at least made sure to give it a BST lower than that of Florges. And it has a legitimate storyline reason to exist and to have boosted stats.
If you want a Special wall, use Sylveon in OU and Florges in UU/BL. If you want a Special tank, it looks like AZ's Floette is the way to go.

Why are people talking about this Eternal Flower Floette like it was some kind of a huge monster and a feared wall breaker? I mean, base 125 Special Attack isn't mind blowing, we've seen better. Besides, that fucker can use its signature move exactly twice and will then die because of recoil damage. It also has pathetic physical bulk and below average Speed. Am I missing something here? What exactly makes it so awesome?

Seriously, Smogonbird has base 80-or-so Atk and its Brave Bird is stronger than Arceus' Extremespeed. Of course a 140 BP attack would be mindblowing on 125 special attack, it's not even like draco meteor which gimps your attacking power

It's offensive options outside of LoR are piss-poor, and it's not fast enough to outspeed much in OU. It has nice support moves, but not really enough bulk to make use of them. Eviolite would remedy that, if we could use it.

Probably BL since a choiced set with petal dance/LoR sounds capable of smashing through a lot of stuff in UU.

Am i the only one seeing this as a Mega-Floette?

Especially since Florges cant get a mega and they said Gen-6 pokemon will not receive megas?

I love this thing.

Florges is kinda meh for me, but Floette is cute. I like its design, I like ts cry, and this Mega Floette is going to be great.

I like the color scheme too. The stats are great, but I'm kinda annoyed that it's not faster than Garchomp.

I'm thinking something like this:

Floette @ Leftovers
Modest
252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA

Light Of Ruin
Wish
Protect
Calm Mind / Moonblast / HP Fire

Wish + Protect might not work, but if it does, it'd be really good.

Yes. It sucks even more when you realize that AZ's Floette (unlike florges's ability that is a niche in doubles) is best using for SINGLE battles, so its ability is completely useless

If it's counted in-game as a forme, then yes, it should work with Eviolite. Male Combee can use Eviolite because it's only counted on a per-species (which I'd assume goes by dex number) basis.

If Eviolite is available that's the best possible outcome, but even without, either of these sets would make UU easily, maybe even OU, and outclass Florges offensively either way

No, this has a unique attack and better stats than its evolution.
It's still usable even without Eviolite
