So I've looked everywhere and asked numerous times but nobody ever seems to notice/respond:

What all CAN you do with a powersaves? I'm aware of the shiny code which I don't think I'd use due to trash bytes left behind by it, and item codes like the mega stones and I'd assume other stuff like pokeballs and maison items, but what all else can one do with this thing? Can I give myself all clothing items with it? What about IV/EV manipulation? I'd love to see a list of all available save modifications but it is literally nowhere to be found if my searching is any indication. Mostly I'd just love to have a max style and all clothing modifier so when I do restarts on my copy of X I can customize my trainer exactly how I want from the beginning instead of waiting until the end of the fucking game to get most of the good clothes.

you can get all o powers from a code. 9999 bp, 9999999 money 9999999 pokemiles. you can max item slots 1-10 to 999. there is a item slot 1 modifier for all the megastones, master balls, heart scales, and rare candies. 1-10 slots of box 1 can be made shiny. you can also unshiny. nothing with clothing or iv ev manipulation. (but you could buy all clothes with the money code) (and you can buy all the bp items with the bp code) also there is a box 1 slot 1 modifier to change the pokemon to diance, either l1 or l15, and there are wondercard codes for torchic and diance. there are codes for all 6 forms of floette. that is evrything that is on the list as of today. as me anything ill tell you.

yeah, its just tedious, like buy a junk item, put it at the top slot, run the codes, move the slot 1 item, buy a junk item, move to top slot, run codes again, repeat ad nausem. it would be quicker to put the stones you already have in the top 10 slots, then it would modify them 10 at a time, as oppesed to 1 at a time. i just got latiasite and latiosite, thats all that i needed. but if you needed more it will work, just takes a while.

Well that pretty much told me what I wanted to know. I've already ordered one but I wanted to know what all it was capable of aside from use for backing up saves and using keysav for instacheck purposes. The wondercard Torchic is good news for people who didn't get in on the original event, and I like that the item modification sounds easy enough. And while yes, I could afford all the clothes with the money code, I can do that already. I'm more concerned with having to wait until the end of the game to be able to buy them. I don't enjoy playing through most of the game looking scrubby in some "best of the worst" outfit only to make myself look really good for the last hour of the game. But as you guys have said, they're releasing stuff pretty quickly so maybe we'll get lucky soon enough.

I'm kind of hoping they'll have a region modification code for vivillon purposes. I wanna breed my own shiny Icy Snow and Tundra patterns but it's not possible outside of region changing or getting very lucky with an instacheck match.

Yeah, except people have used it and pointed out that it does leave behind trash bytes in the data, and it forcibly changes the pokemons shiny value to match yours, causing some obvious discrepencies. Might not matter now, but sure enough as I do it on a bunch of stuff, next gen gamefreak will improve their hack checks and they won't be able to go to bank. I'd rather hatch them as legit as possible. Honestly the only use I have for a powersave is the instacheck function, save back-ups and if/when it's added, clothing codes. The rest I couldn't really care less about.

yeah i ONLY shinified the unobtainables, i hate hacks. as soon as we get a pokecheck hack checker (hopefully soon) all the fakes are gonna stick out. i dont want anything to do with them. i hope they do figure out a way to keep them out of bank. i got the thing so i could have the shiny locked shinies and free BP. u can already save backups of your save. it does it automatically everytime before you use any codes in case something bad happens. (unless you change the settings not to) ive got like 12 backups of my save now. people are mass cloning this way. like back up your save, move all pokes to bank, restore save and viola, 2 sets of your pokemon.

Yeah, I'd imagine so, but ya never know down the line. Hopefully a region mod will be available, otherwise I'm just gonna breed a metric fuck ton of Vivillon, prune out the less than 5-iv ones untill I have like six boxes of perfect Vivi's and pray that someone from the right region matches one of them. Hell, at that point I'll likely just try and get a shiny of each for the hell of it. I dislike unfair hacks myself, so the fact that there isn't a stat mod makes me happy. The shiny code just makes them feel cheap to me honestly. I used them when I was a little kid playing silver, and they never felt special because all I had to do was just plug in a code. I just decided which color I liked better and went with it. Nowadays, even with instacheck, there's some work involved with breeding for the proper stats and moves and stocking up a box or two full to scan, then searching for the right match for them. Even if it's not "200 boxes and finally I got a shiny", it still feels like an accomplishment when all is said and done.

I understand the joy in breeding the perfect shiny mon, since its an accomplishment. But how do you still feel its worth anything nowadays when codes exist. Now no matter if your mon is legit or not, it has no worth online. I don't care if it has worth or not. If I go out of my way to get a shiny of something it's because I want it for myself, not for trading or showing off. It's literally because I simply like that color better than the standard and if I want to use that mon then I want it to look nice. Plus, as I stated before, hacking them into shinies forces the game to fuck with your trainer id and the pokemon's id so they match, and that screws up the code in obvious ways, which could potentially disqualify them from future use/transfer. Not that I've ever been to an actual tournament, but if I decided that I actually wanted to, I'd like to be able to participate with my favorite mons without worrying that I'd be disqualified simply because I changed it's color. Plus it honestly does make me feel a little more attached to them if I had to work at least a little bit for a shiny. All the shinies that I have now are ones that I specifically wanted and sought out, and when I got them, I spent time thinking up the perfect name and planning how I could use them most effectively. In comparison, using a shiny code just feels like stapling a roll of wrapping paper to them just to say they're a different color. I'd much rather enjoy something that required a bit of work so I feel more attached to it.

The current theory is that Datel is using a 3DS farm and RAM hacks to do all the work, so they have to be able to load the game on their systems. So nothing we can really do until either Datel releases them, or pokegen comes out.

went to pokecheck today and they say "no news about gen 6 and dont ask" in their chat. so much for support by the end of the month. they also said "we know about gts going down and there is a 99% chance our fake gts goes down too, so dont ask about that either." as far as a pokegen program, i havent heard anythign about gen 6 support at all....

Well for what it's worth, I'm able to dump the keystream on the party and PC data, and extract and decrypt PKX files from my save files. Only thing we need to do figure out how to recalculate the checksums and hashes that get broken in the process. Who knows how long that'll take though.

Well the program is on PPorg, but as far as extracting data, you pretty much have to know how the xorpad-keystream files are set up. they basically 'encrypt' the file with a keystream, to make it not so easy to read.. and the PKX data is still encrypted the same way as gen 4/5

Oh yeah. I actually knew that but it's been a while since I thought about breeding Vivillon so I completely forgot, haha. Oh well, I had my region set to ocean pattern before the whole nintendo id, can't change regions thing hit, so I guess I can just breed a ton of Ocean vivillon, hope for some shiny hatches and trade them around for the ones I want. Anyone that uses a hacked 6iv poke COULD have just bred it, so whats the difference? If you gen, just gen up some shinies (porygon-z works really well for this), throw them on gts for Xerneas, and get like 18 Xerneas, then comb the Vivillon listings for a day or two. Youll finish your collection quickly, thats how I did it.
