I'm going for the Shiny Charm and although I now have every non-legendary pokemon in existence, I've hit a wall.

I can't reasonably ask for most legendaries on GTS and my copy of White, the lynchpin on which my pokebank transferal resides on, is on a flashcart that is now long-defunct due to 3DS firmware updates.

So I'm asking if anyone here with non-event legendaries would like to trade and trade back (so that we both end up with our original pokemon) with me so that I can get the legendary entries and you can get some of the more difficult standard pokemon entries.

I've got almost every final form, but If you need a pre-evolution, It's more or less a toss-up.

I've got Mewtwo, Zapdos, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, and XYZ, but still need everything else.

If anyone is willing to help me, then please say so and give a list of dex entries you need equal in number to the amount of non-event legendaries you have.

A question - how does the Fast Ball look on use in X and Y? I was hoping to try and Masuda a shiny Buizel at some point with the Fast Ball, but I'd probably go nuts with trying to get it myself since I'd have to speed through SoulSilver to do so (only 4 badges in). Basically what I'm doing is having 10K encounters in the friend safari, but re-entering it after every 10. Then I'll have another 10K encounters without exiting the safari and compare the number of shinies encountered in both methods to see which one is more efficient or if they are the same.

The colors for the shiny look like they clash a bit and it just doesn't sit well. Flaaffy's more tolerable, and Ampharos is actually a good design for me at least. Again, it's just my opinion, but there's much better looking shinies/pokemon in general.

Doesn't help that I found Mareep's design to be pretty forgettable looking compared to some other Electric types.

I had a theory that if you catch a shiny in one safari, that the next shiny would be in another safari. Because I caught a swirlix and I thought my luck would decrease if I stayed in the same safari. I went to the next safari and within 20 mins caught a shiny gloom. And then went to another safari and within about the same time caught a shiny pumpkaboo. I didn't want to say anything or believe it but who knows.
