I want to replay my Gold version really badly but I need to replace the internal battery. I ordered a C3035 from Ebay. But I heard its possible to fuck it up and since I have mental problems I fear that I will or end up injuring myself.

It's easy as fuck dude. I just bought watch batteries at wallgreens and replaced it.

The only part that was a little tough was getting the soldered parts off.

It's possible to fuck anything up. What do you have to lose if you do? Your game doesn't work anyway.

Worst case scenario you get a cut on your finger. You probably won't though.

sometimes I start and it's written "New game" Only, and then I save after a minute. Reboot. No new games. but sometimes I reboot and there is the "Mystery Gift' but it says "save file corrupted"

m8 I recently replaced the battery in my pokemon silver cartridge and it's worked fine since (about 2 weeks). I scratched the cartridge midway through removing the old battery but still perfectly fine. Don't worry about it mayne it'lll work fine.
