It's hard to pick either cards and toys (atleast when I was more younger). It reminds me of Magic the Gathering.

And yes I actually "played" the pokemon card game rather then collecting em for giggles and "fun".

Yeah, I used to play the cards all the time at Wizards of the Coast... Shit was cash. I never played MTG so Pokemon always had me hooked. Once they moved into double battles and stuff after gen 3 I lost interest.

Well in R/G/B/Y and G/S/C they had to created their own story since games didn't had one, but next chapters follows the games directly.
I think Elite 4 was weird, but I tend to ignore Yellow and Emerald since these were filler arcs.

You bet your ass I watched the anime.
Watching the anime is like watching morning show of Godzilla. Seeing the pokemon on the screen AND music is my touch.

Also the moments with Jessie & James makes me hurl.
