Hopefully you can scare something out for a free sub to bait attacks. Sub, Sucker, kill, repeat. It's got a decent enough support movepool that you're probably best off using either Roost or Twave over a coverage move. 100 base HP gives it Seismic Toss-proof substitutes, handy for dealing with Blissey.

She has a sleek, almost super hero design to her and a well rounded movepool that lets her be support or a sweeper with state to back it up. you can give her the ability natural cure and aromatherapy to quick heal statuses. Her poison status is great for the now overused fairy typing.
However. Poison/grass is a pretty common type and she won't be winning any battles against steel types without hp fire, and i tend to give her hp rock to defend against more of her weaknesses such as flying and bug types.

- Surprisingly bulky despite below average defenses aside from HP
- Handles threats like Greninja, Talonflame and Rotom-W pretty well
- Pretty nice movepool for annoyer, sponge and cleric sets

Cons
- No recovery
- Poor offensive stats
- Earthquake
- Rotom-W performs many of its role better aside from some niches

I always run it on my teams though and it's been one of the most reliable members on the team.

Calm, Volt Absorb with Leftovers + Scald, Ice Beam, Discharge and Confuse Ray has been my most reliable set though confusion can be unpredictable. Many times I've confused on the switch and managed to take down the Pokemon that attempted to counter Lanturn because it kept hitting itself. Just keep Lanturn away from physical hard hitters and he'll handle stuff pretty well.

Interesting typings
Mega Evolution take another route and it finally allow to get past substitutes

Talonflame. Even more than Gliscor. To be honest, Talonflame is to Fighting-, Bug- and Grass-Type what Crobat was to dedicated Stall in Late DP.

On a side note, my very favourite is Mightyena, but at this points is more a thing like pity for it.

I've gotten some unexpected victories with Farfetch'd on the battle spot. A lot of times, the opponent will see it and assume you're just a moron, and will spend the turn setting up a sweeper or something instead of taking Farfetch'd down. Started a battle against a Mega Venusaur, and he foolishly decided to leech seed me on the first turn. This meant I got to hit him with two Brave Birds, both of which went critical and took him down. It was a good moment, even though Farfetch'd almost fainted from the recoil.
