Personally I think games with no canon are more interesting with games than strongly established canons.

they werent be any more remakes. maybe like on the next system after 3ds, but there will not be any remakes this gen, or on 3ds. game freak said it would force them to reissue gen 4 and 5 and they cant do that yet. id look for gen 2 remakes around gen 8

yeah that article was on meatspin.com i cant remember exactly just search for it. I remember them saying that they will remake gen 2 again, then gen 3,4,5 to have all pokemon regions in 3d by gen 8.

Red's GSC Team implies that he's followed Yellow's story. He has a Pikachu as his strongest mon and all three starters. Who catches a Pikachu in Viridian Forest to use as their main mon when Brock is the first Gym Leader?

guys it's entirely possible that red, especially if he caught them all, got a pikachu in the viridian forest and the 3 starters elsewhere. He probably even bred baby starters and traded for others

anyway I consider RBG canon because i guess jesse and james don't show up again

Red doesn't have a set team in gen 1, it could be anything. Blue, however, does have a set team in both generations. His team is Yellow is different to the one he has in Red/Blue and the one in Red/Blue is the one that matches up with his gen 2 version. If Yellow was canon he'd be using a Sandslash instead of Pidgeot.
