The fact it can tank two Ice Beams from Greninja looks good enough for me. Not to mention the ever trollish double Sitrus in a turn.

The good about Harvest is that you have a chance to harvest a berry each turn (100% if it's sunny). In other word, if you have that instead of Natural Cure, you have chances to cure yourself off an ailment if you harvest back a Lum Berry.

The Will-O-Wisp/Leech Seed/Protect/Horn Leech set is very good as well for a more offensive set.

the only trevenant that would stay in against t-tar would be faster and willowisp it then wood hammer or stall it, I've actually done this, t-tar is a serious enough threat that you must always be prepared for it, which isn't hard

Not only does the Trevenant have to not be physically defensive, but Tyranitar has to switch in when Trevenant does not have a substitute, isn't currently using Will-O-Wisp, isn't currently using substitute, or doesn't carry Wood Hammer. It also has to be a Tyranitar that carries crunch as opposed to EdgeQuake.

In short, SOME Tyranitars say hi to SOME Trevenants.

Adamant can be run the same way, it just won't have quite the special defense. Just use the Horn Leech set.
