Broken as fuck. Recover and Roost would be bonkers. Talonflame would be unstoppable. Sableye would be untouchable as a Taunter. That's an awful idea.

Boost to OHKO or just hit them with strong moves that deal more than 50% of their life in one turn. They won't even have leftovers recovery.

Leftovers recovery ups the requirement of dealing more than 50% to more than 56% to kill a pokemon, or 62% if you mix protect in there. It does matter; see sableye trying to tank any average special attacker. It just can't keep up.
