There was a thread about how GF can stop hackers yesterday. My idea is that GF should create a new mode, let's call it Pokémon Global Tournament, where it replaces vs battles against other humans. In PGT mode you get to create a team of any six pokemon, their IVs, EVs, legal movesets and colorations.. Hell even the ball you send them out in. You can't take these pokemon out of this multiplayer only mode and you can't battle people through Wi-Fi/the internet in any other mode. You can still battle your friends using your in-game team through the 3ds local connection. But that's it. The pokemon you trade, breed and caught can't be used in battles against other humans that are not a couple of feet from you. So it's easier for everyone to understand, Pokémon's multiplayer battling is going to be using something identical to Pokémon showdown. And this system will replace vs battles in all the main games going forward starting with Gen 7.

This will erase the IV problem. There will no longer be a need to spend hours on bike simulator '13 to create super pokemon. Your dumbass sassy charizard will be strong enough to do everything you need in the game. The only reason to hack pokemon after this change is to have them rotting in your box and telling other internet losers you have a shiny darkrai rotting in your box. At that point if you still care that other people have fake pokemon rotting in their boxes, you need to kill yourself.

This won't lose GF any money either. As having a legit simulator like that means they can go and shut down pokemon showdown and make even more money. Fuck even I would be for that since at least they are giving us a great replacement. This will also place more focus on your bros that you catch in game. They will never need to be mutated super freaks. And can just be used post game in like the battle tower and some other facilities.

Would this discourage hacking? Btw, this is meant more a fuck you to IV breeders than hackers.
