Get a Shinx. Luxray has a nice base 120 Attack stat for you to rape Gym Leaders with. It's also got Crunch and some useful side moves in Roar and Charge.

Later tonight, though, I'm going to finish taking every notable 'Mon out of my copy of White 2 and then restarting it for a Nuzlocke. My only modification is that legendaries will all be caught, but non may be used; the main point of the run is to catch some extra legends for trade fodder, just because, I mean, why the fuck not. We'll see what team comes out of that.

Doing a nuzlocke in Platinum but with an extra rule, that I can only heal in the Pokemon Center after beating a gym. Also avoid abusing other ways of fully healing your party. So far it has been plain suffering. Lost Gible to a suicidal Geodude, my beloved Grotle and Biberal to that disgusting Galactic Skuntank, and Meditite to a Heracross just one level before evolving. Now it's me, Noctowl, Lumineon, and Magikarp inside Veilstone about to enter the gym with no Air Slash PP.

Paris and Togepi won't be on the main team. Heracross is in a Fast ball and Pineco is in a Heavy Ball. Can't wait to beat the game and transfer them over to X.
