And no one plays the Fire Emblem games. I'm only aware of Fire Emblem because I played Melee.

Plenty of people play Fire Emblem.
Toon Link and Link are both in because of the drastic different styles and the fact that LoZ has consistently been one of Nintendo's best-selling franchises. Though why we still don't have Paper Mario is beyond me.
