Let's take a look at muh patterns
In addition to always having his Pikachu, Ash absolutely loves to have a Grass/Fire/Water core as well as the regional bird. In addition to this, he has a wildcard. Fletching (or hopefully Talonflame in the end) doesn't count as a Fire-type since it's the regional bird, so now Ash only has Water and Bird. Based on these patterns and whatever I feel like, Ash's final team will be something like this:
>Pikachu (obviously)
>Frogadier (he's not gonna have a Greninja, trust me)
>Talonflame (he always has a fully evolved bird)
>Gogoat (Grass, Chespin is already gone)
>Litleo / Pyroar (Fire, may or may not evolve)
>Wildcard (something that other characters don't have, my guess is Bergmite that won't evolve)
