What are some game mechanic gripes you have, /vp/?

>can't remove/switch items with plate holding arceus and mega stone holders
>can't release an egg
>non kalos born pokes don't count towards dex completion

i slightly agree with this. you should be able to switcheroo mega stones, but it shouldn't be able to prevent or revert a mega evolved pokemon if used before switcheroo/trick

this would be less challenging if you already completed the dex in a previous game.

probably not a game mechanic gripe, but i wish there was an option in the battle settings to restrict the use of legendaries in free battle modes. hate battling faggots that genned shiny darkrais and mewtwos ruining my fun.

I dunno what OP meant but I've transferred a lot of legends from my B2 and they show up fine in the Y dex. All the nonlegends I've transferred show up too.

but they don't count towards dex completion. If you check your kalos born pokemon , like ralts, you see it has a symbol, while your bw legends have a pokeball in the pokedex. Thats what op means.

I see the difference on the dex and I've seen the pentagon next to the markings in the Pokemon summary but it looks like they still count in the dex. I've caught about 80 national dex Pokemon and about 120 national dex Pokemon, having transferred about 40 new ones. I'm fairly certain they still count.

he's talking about the Pentagon thing. pokemon transported have the pokeball symbol next to it while pokemon caught in xy have the pentagon. When completing the pokedex, if you've filled it out (minus legendaries) with kilos pokemon you have a crown next to it. If some of the pokemon aren't from kilos it won't appear.

This doesn't account to legendaries I believe, because all three birds I acquired through transport but I still got the crown

it's a pain in the ass
