all but gen 2 and gen 5 starters. And it's funny because the gen 2 and 5 ones probably have the best abilities overall in terms of improving the Pokemon.

Pretty much none of them.

And who cares, of the released ones, the only ones that matter are Chlorphyll Venusaur, giving it what is now a super small niche as a Sun sweeper, and Speed Boost Blaziken which makes it broken beyond reason

Contrary would at least allow Serperior to spam Specs Leafstorm when 4x resists and special walls were taken care of, but it's not released.

Admittedly sometimes they carry Dazzling Gleam but I see Perish Song more often than that.

You would be surprised at how many times I get a Flash Fire bonus on my Heatran on Showdown. It's significantly more useful than Blaze.

While it makes sense competitively, axolotls don't sap sip so from a lore standpoint it just can't happen.

With STAB and Life Orb is still pretty strong and has priority, just run Dragon Dance and Life Orb with Earthquake for coverage and either Crunch or Ice Punch, thats what i use, though Reckless would really help him

You meant to say Reckless? Feraligatr has no moves that benefit from that. Sheer Force boosts Ice Punch, Crunch, and most importantly Waterfall, so... he's already perfect. Run those three with Dragon Dance and Life Orb and you'll know why we want him to be released so bad.
