Still not getting the point dude. I'm not saying that is 100% accurately to the real life animal is based on also, I don't find that arm "horrifying" of sth, I think it is just laziness. I'm pointing that the design it's plain stupid in matter of its arms, literally just mini backs instead of forearms and they are based on Hercules beetles backs. That is it.

Well, I don't think you can say for certain what makes biological sense as Masuda has said that pokemon world just doesn't work like as ours does, in regards to natural laws and shit. Biology has a whole new meaning when life can spring forth from inanimate objects.

Where the muscles actually start to overheat due to the excessive strength and it has to let out the heat somehow since an exoskeleton wouldn't let it sweat.

The difference is that Pokemon having elemental traits in their design is fairly common and not strange. Pointing to a beetle and calling people idiots when they're surprised that it has elytra on its fucking arms where the underneath doesn't even look like a regular beetle abdomen is a different story. ;)
