Defensive xatu can roost off them reading your switches with foul play, but you're not really doing anything, you're at his whim too.
He predicts your ferrothorn switching out into frail xatu and just switches klefki out (probably near full health cause it's been healing behind a sub) he'll gain the advantage.
Magic bouncers do not counter klefki at all though, they can check it.
Special electric/ground/limber mons are your best bet
