Speed boost is acceptable because it's only one stage, and after a while it stops doing shit. A 4x speed boost is no better than a 2x speed boost when 2x already outspeeds the opponent, and 4x still gets beat by priority.
A 2+ increase to Attack can change a game. Land on it twice? End the game
basically you can just protect/stall until you get stats you're happy with, then sweep with all your randomized fury
