Too bad nothing really seems to fit well for Edgebird. Shiny Bacon Bird would probably look good in a Premier.

I can only dream that one day a balltist will spend a few months on a visually creative board and learn how horrible all their previous ball choices were and realize they must start from scratch

I actually am not that anal about matching, I just like to have each one in a different ball if I can.

I just caught a Deino in a Luxury ball on my White file, I thought that looked good, though a Dusk ball has a better effect coming out of the ball that would have looked damn good on it.

Also, Net ball + Galvantula is great because the net effect doubles as webbing

Quick Ball is a good choice. I caught mine in a Luxury, because I thought it'll fit Xerneas' black parts, but it didn't.

Not exactly on-topic, but why aren't there more pokeballs suited to catching certain types of pokemon? There's dive and net balls for water (and bug) types, but not much else. Why not a Battery Ball for catching electric types, or a Crag Ball for rock and ground?

I only ever use standard Pokeballs for regular wild Pokemon. The only reasons I do is because they're cheap and you get a free Premier Ball for every 10 you purchase.

The only time I use specialty balls is against applicable legendaries. If it's a water-type, I'll use Net Balls. If I think the battle will be a stalemate, I'll use Timer Balls. If it's inside a cave or at night, I'll use Dusk Balls. If they're roaming legendaries down to 1HP, I'll use a Quick Ball on the first turn, then the next best ball in the next turn.

So you know how in Pokemon X/Y, baby Pokemon now come in the same ball as its parent?

Wouldn't that mean the daycare's operating costs would increase? What if the parent Pokemon was caught in a Master Ball?

And yet, they give you your babies for free, and they still charge you 100 poke-yen per level for the daycare services.
