If Ash had to assemble a team of 6 given every pokemon he's ever officially caught which would be his 6 best? For the purposes of this list we'll say he more or less "caught" haunter"

Last spot probably goes to Heracross or Krookodile. Froakie's showing potential though and it might go Greninja. It's a shame both Infernape and Charizard are fire but they're both strong so both get in and Charizard can potentially go mega.

Yeah its pretty fucking stupid. Ritchie is made out to be a great guy because he convinces them to wait 10 mins. But he doesn't care that half of ash's team is dead pre fight.

It would still have the same problems as the anime was now. Who isn't to say that Gold/Jimmy will be Ash 2.0 if they went that route? The only difference is the whole "Ash lost 5 leagues in a row" and "Ash never aged" won't happen. Then again, it's arguable how formulaic the writers truly wanted it to be.
