Transferred ny shiny Ninetales from Black 2. Its EVs were worse than expected so I Reset Bag the fucker, not realizing she's at level 100..

1. Is Super Training my only option for EV training a level 100 pokemon in XY?
2. Do the Power items yield more EVs in Super Training or does that only work with EV training against wild pokes?

I used 2 shell smashes while the heracross set up swords dance. In then used close combat, which activated my weakness policy and my sturdy. I suppose in hindsight I should have used stone edge, but I didn't want to risk the miss.

Super training is your best bet. using 10 vitamins in two stats (each) gives you a 200 EV head start in ST (the damage you do in ST is based on how many EVs you have).
No, Power items do no affect Super Training, neither does Pokerus.

every attack has varying damage rolls

the more damage dealt, the higher the variation can be, which is just how math works
