It's not too bad, but the characters are kinda shitty to cringeworthy because they're based on an rp in an online league, but it's not too bad in terms of a challenge. Also, the music starts off good, but then you realize it's all the same.

I've been working on implementing the whole johto region into a leafgreen ROM.. I had to 90% of the work in a hex editor due to programs liking to fuck shit up and i had to restart the project 3 times due to parts of the engine being overwritten.
I've already allocated all the maps, and repointed a few banks to make room, and had to write the connection data from scratch, but its working still. I added a new tileset so i can add custom blocks too.

Well color me surprised, especially considering it looks like an advanced generation game and there aren't even sprites for the last 72. Might actually give this a shot because of that.

also to add to this, the way to rt 26 is similar to g/s/c .. i just made a ghetto side door in that building on the way to victory road.
Also I made a temporary secret passage way to go from route 27 to New Bark, since i cant be arsed to get surf everytime i debug.

Zeta/Omicron is pretty well designed. The story though, is fucking garbage. It starts off a little shaky but nothing to bad, but goddamn it falls apart. The fourth gym leader was accused for killing a fucking family? What the hell? The evil team wants to capture Ocdonutsteel because he is the strongest Pokemon ever (who also looks like shit). There's a fucking cameo of Ash as part of the evil team. And, in my opinion, worst of all. The evil leader is revealed to be fucking. Gold (at least in Zeta, it's probably Red in Omicron.) What the fuck, it almost makes me not play the game, but I can barely deal with it.

It really depends if you can stomach the story. The gameplay is pretty good, considering it's Pokemon. It also has a lot of little neat features, like underground mining, secret bases (although they work differently), lots of stuff to do after you beat the E4, etc. That story though man, damn.
