You could still hold onto a thin strand of hope, "maybe GF will give us a grateful surprise out of the sudden?", but you know how that usually turns out.
I guess I'm just still bitter with disappointment.
But for the record, though, I do like the Greninja line overall , design wise and usefulness wise. The last two stages balance the cuteness with the coolness pretty well.
That said, that doesn't set gen 6 as the one with the "overall best starters". It was a good theme idea, but executed poorly.
