Traded 3 shines for a 6iv ditto, so why does the Destiny Knot only pass down 3-2ivs per baby, so I have to do the power item shit?

It passed down 5 randoms IVs from the parents, not 2-3 from each one

if you other pokemon you are breeding with has shit ivs of course you wont get a good spread.

I was breeding Yanmas and had a 0IV yanma with a 6IV ditto.

About 2-3 eggs in I got a 5IV Yanma with Speed Boost
