Otherwise, I really can't see any changes to routes like in B/W2, there isn't a hell of a lot of room in Kalso.
I think it would more likely be like Platinum, just some minor changes.

Black and White 2 sold considerably more than previous third versions did. There's no reason to think that they won't continue their successful strategy.

I also suspect it'll continue the trend of sequels/third versions moving away from the originals, so here goes:
*Set in a new region, next door to Kalos without being connected- most likely Britain or Germany.
*A handful of new Pokémon- not a full generation's worth, of course, but a couple of lines, some new starters and a couple of auxiliary Legendaries.
*Bigger focus on the story of Mega Evolution- Megas for the Kalos legendaries and starters, and a handful of new ones from each gen before.
*Plot moving away from the normal evil team structure, instead focusing on tracking down AZ and solving various mysteries of the past- a thematic sequel rather than a plot sequel.
*Smoother, perfected 3D engine- 3D in the overworld, and framerate dips polished out of the battles.
*Mandatory X and Y patch, to ensure compatibility in battling and trading.
*A new Battle Frontier, with a Pokémon World Tournament integrated as one of the facilities.

Listen here nigger I have some serious ocd about owning every main Pokemon game and if they don't give us one complete Z like they should have given us Grey I will go apeshit.

And yes, I do realise that I am part of the problem there but I just can't help it, people like me drew the shortest stick in Gen V.

Is this some joke that I'm not getting it? Steven was in Emerald, but he was no longer the Champion because he was replaced by WALLACE, not WALLY. Wally was your friendly green-haired rival who caught a Ralts. In R/S, Wallace was the 8th Gym Leader.

Wallace was the champion guy who had the blue hair in Ruby and Sapphire. He was the water gym leader in Emerald, and his place as champion was taken by the dude at the end part with the water types.

I don't think we'll see an entirely new region even if there is a sequel. More like we'll see an unexplored part of Kalos. I mean BW2 added a few new towns and routes while still staying in Unova.

My guess?
>Lysandre and AZ return, Lysandre will somehow be redeemed by the end of the story.

I can't agree the engine was terrible (imho it was quite decent), but I can agree there's room for improvement. And it doesn't HAVE to happen, we all know GF and there's a chance they will use the exact same engine.

No, it was terrible. They hacked out the 3D in most areas because the engine couldn't cope, had to disable the 3D in Doubles and Triples, having 3D in singles caused the framerate to drop to single figures, there were frequent drops even without 3D, and the engine was so totally incapable of handling larger environments such as Lumiose that a patch was required. The X and Y engine was an utterly embarrassing mess, bad enough to make Diamond and Pearl's look like an utter triumph.
