I personally prefer the classic King's Shield/Shadow Sneak/Iron Head/Sacred Sword.
With weakness policy of course.

Apart from being burned I'm not really sure why everyone is migrating to mixed. I feel like spreading the EVs away from bulk just doesn't help the thing.

EVs are just 252 HP & 252 SpA with 4 in Attack. Really not hindering at all. Sacred sword is for anything that resists Shadow Ball, which it's SE against. And shadow sneak for finishing things off.
