But seriously, there are a lot of 6Iv dittos in distribution if you do not know how to get one in the 5th gen.

Was that so hard? Worst case scenario is it's a legit shiny, which you can just put up for something rare and try again. It's how I got my first 6iv ditto when I didn't have Pokebank.
