Yeah, all pokemon should be able to cover the types they're weak to, that way typing doesn't matter, all that matters is speed.

the difference is tiny but ground is better, it would actually be a lot better of with a rock move over a grass move since that will give it perfect coverage either way

This is just BS speculation, but, given Medicham's trademark ability, it was important to put it in first just to have one of the larger cogs in the evolving metagame already taken care of. Same goes for the rest of insanely powerful Mega evos.

Though I don't believe that GF could possibly be this competent.
