That's why people shat on Donphan users so much: there's almost always something better to use in OU. Similarly, Pokemon like Infernape, Goodra, Blissey, and Espeon are outclassed or ineffective in the OU metagame, and would be more interesting in a lower-powered metagame.
Goodra is especially significant, because there really isn't any reason to use it when Latias exists and has Defog and like eleventy-seven different moves to heal itself, holy shit over Goodra's... not-Psychic typing, I guess, though Latias has a way to get around even that
Reflect Type, which isn't worth using, just like Latias's Sucker Punch while somehow managing to not attract nearly as much furfaggotry despite being 100% female and one of the few beings to have actually shown affection towards the protagonist of the Pokemon anime.
