for the same reason ratata and magnemite and all other FEAR variants arent uber. Its a wasted slot that at the most is a 1 for 1

yes but those things can't sweep whole teams like Aron can. Aron forces you to run counters otherwise you won't win unless you get a lucky flinch

so you want me to run will-o-wisp, ANYTHING with leftovers, anything with overcoat/sandveil/etc, a rock/steel/ground/ghost type, something with a multi-hit move, something with substitute, anything with a confusing move, anything with stealth rock/spikes, anything with mold breaker, anything with u-turn/volt switch, fake out, moves with secondary effects (scald, air slash), encore, knock off (i'm probably missing some) on every team?

Not if you have shell bell and toxic spikes out. Then it could conceivably sweep an entire team.
Of course, that team would have to have nothing immune to toxic spikes, and nothing with status. I'm not saying that's plausible, but I've seen FEARon put a serious dent in teams

Leftovers
Fake Out
Flinch
haxxing it out with evasion/confusion/para

I think in this list I've covered almost every fully Evolved Pokemon in the game. So basically, if you can't counter this guy, you're using an in-game team from before beating the 4th Gym.

A Knock Off user is standard in HO. Deo-D IS HO. Aegislash is standard in HO.

So at the very least, you have hazards, Red Card, Knock Off, and a Ghost. If you can't counter Aron with those you might just want to quit comp while you can.

Bisharp, Mega-Gyarados, Aegislash, Pinsir, Charizard-Y, Conkeldurr, Landorus-T, Mega-Mawile, Excadrill (double points!), Garchomp, Gengar, Mamoswine, Kyurem-B, Mega Scizor can all beat it.
(sorry, this is just off the top of my head)

Not to mention that the typical HO teams runs hazards, so it doesn't even need any of the above (but it does anyway).

Pokemon that either rapid spin, or double team. (ie, any kind of team, I don't battle "competitively," just for fun)

I don't use the Smogon ruleset unless I'm playing on their servers.
