Has anyone checked out this before?

You should try Pokemon Tabletop United PTU instead of PTA, it's a lot more balanced and follows a lot of the same mechanics as Pathfinder.
However awesome PTA sounds (believe me, I did my homework a dozen times on it, and played with different tweaks here and there), low levels are infinitely broken. Unless you want to start at Lv. 15.

If you're doing an online one-shot or want a regular thing going on, I wouldn't mind joining!
