Linking your system is pointless. Have you made sure to put in the pin number from the club nintendo insert that came with your gameboy not just the upc on the back of it?

That should have been 100+ with both codes, depending on which 3ds model you got.
Are you sure you didn't use the serial number on the back by mistake?

Yeah, a 3DS system is like 150+ coins anon, you probably just registered the Serial number, not the PIN.

Okay, now I'm SUPER confused.

I have NOT YET redeemed the code on the club nintendo insert that came with my 3DS.

I HAVE registered both Super Mario Land 3D and the upc on the back of my 3DS with a Club Nintendo account that I just created.

But my 3DS is used, and already has a Network ID in it. If I delete this, and then link my DS to the one I made, and THEN register the club nintendo insert code, am I in the clear?

Yeah, should've, if you register the pins to the account, the account give you the number to download the game.
But, if the 3ds is used, that means the code could've used too right?

It has to be the pin that is inside of the 3DS box. Not the serial code. + the pin in the game case of those 6 games.
