any pokemon fans in their 20s? I'm 24 and still play the games and competitive battle. I'm well aware that i'm way outside of the target demographic and probably a great deal older than you all as well.

If i'm the only Pokemon fan on here older than 21 i'm going to quit /vp/ and stick with /v/ from now on.

There's nothing wrong with playing Pokemon at this age or any age at all. Why would it be?

Almost 22. Keep in mind this is a rare game series in that it targets many different demographics and that you and I sir would have been 7/8 when we got our mitts on Red/Blue. Shit like that tends to leave a lasting impression!

Gamefreak acknowledges us, they dedicated the Pokémon Origins special to us. Masuda thinks half fans are adults and half are kids, according to what he said in Barcelona. We are not the main target but we are by no means outside of it

I'm 25 and very successful and I know lots of people who love pokemans in their mid twenties.

It's actually on the verge of becoming a hipster thing, unfortunately. Expect to see faux-retro pokemon clothing fairly often if you live in a youngish city soon.

I'm only 19 OP, but my older brother turned 30 last year and he still plays at least a couple of days per week - he isn't a failure either, he's a store manager for a pretty big company.

I'm 26, a grillll, have a pretty good full time job, and I've completed the gen VI dex. Trust me, there are plenty of people over 20 who enjoy the games still.
