Everyone probably already knows about the Pokemon Crystal Emu Edition

I like it the concept but I'd like to make some further changes, namely adjusting Gym Leaders' teams so they actually use some fucking Johto pokemon, and possibly making the game more difficult.

Is there a simple way to do this? What tools would I need?
