I'd really like it to be grass since it's my favorite type, but they all have the personalities of wet cardboard. It's probably electric, though because they're all so unique from one another and all have interesting personalities/backstories/character traits

Yeah, Gardenia is the one of them that does, but the others are just so flat, either by virtue of being a gen 1 or 6 gym leader not named Giovanni or Korrina, or being a first gym leader.

Just look at Blaine and Flannery. Two cool mother fuckers just setting the stage... ...for the three dumbass looking assholes that follow them. Seriously does that one guy have a red afro? who the fuck are you going to impress with a Ronald McDonald afro? I have played and completed every single Gen and I don't even recall that dumb looking disco fuck.

Overall I have to say fighting, every one of those trainers looks intense, they are ready to fucking rumble (Roller blade girl was kinda meh, but whatever her gym was kinda cool.)
