I run one with a 4 SpAtk spread, with Toxic, Will-O-Wisp, Hex, and Pain Split.

Toxic can put Talonflame on a timer and Hex hits for 130 BP once they're statused. If you don't want to run Dual Status, Magic Coat's a cool option, as is Snatch. The former bounces back any attempts at stausing Cofag, and Snatch steals Aromatherapy/Heal Bell, Screens, Recovery, and anything else people might try to set up on a pokemon they presume to have little offensive presence.

I run a way different team now, this was when I basically first started playing on ShowDown. But Cofag's immortality remains the same.

Magic coat might be a good option, taunt has definitely been a problem for me and I hate when he gets hit with toxic. Not sure on the status yet, I feel like Hidden Power Fighting really helps Cofagrigus out.

yea, I know, HP Ice, but it has come in handy a bunch of times.

sure, I can't do much to normal types, but they can't do much to me. I find myself using this set the most, and after a few CalmMinds, and Rest off any Poison. I can sit there and look pretty until the other pokemon runs out of moves, or die from burn.
