>>18532961I don't know. Everything in BL has some justifiable reasons for their ban, except klefki since Swagger got banned too. Even Diggersby, which seems like a silly ban, has some logic behind it: Azumarill is a top tier OU mon, Diggersby is pretty much Azumarill but with less bulk and a worse typing. It could be let back in though.
But stuff that will absolutely not drop:
Wobbuffet and Gothitelle: UU council hates shadow tag a lot. These won't be unbanned.
M-Gardevoir: Nuclear-powered STABs that can hit the physical side too, and the coverage to hit anything that resists them for at least neutral damage. Even if you find something that can switch in (Assault Vest Metagross is probably its best counter,) too bad because its support movepool is massive and it has a move to dick with everything in the tier, like Will-o-Wisp.
M-Heracross: Mega Gardevoir except bulkier, slower, and with even better STABs and coverage. Counters were Granbull and nothing else
M-Medicham: See Heracross except less bulky, faster, and with an even more powerful STAB attack and enough coverage to get by. Baton Pass lets it act as a pivot and lets it get rid of counters and make free turns pretty easily, so even if you have a counter it doesn't always matter.
Drizzle: No. Offensive rain teams are crazy strong, it's just that it has a much higher skill ceiling now that rain isn't permanent. Swift Swimmers like Kingdra are super hard to handle in rain and all are legal in UU.
Drought: See rain, except it's not that strong.
Staraptor: Has been BL for three gens now, probably not.
Scolipede: This is a poor man's Blaziken. Priority is hardly a thing in UU and scarfers don't work on it, and even if you can check it it can pass its boosts to something else.
Salamence: No. Fairies (And Aegislash) are the primary reason its not very strong anymore in OU, and there's two good fairies in UU and one of them can't take a hit from EQ anyway.
Dunno what else.
