Alright, this motherfucker has a sick design and a good ability. What is the best moveset, nature and build for it?

I've heard that Adamant Megaerodactyl still outspeeds Jolly Aerodactyl. Is the lesser speed investment worth the gain in power?

It's a good counter to other megas, so I'd say give it enough evs to outspeed a Jolly Mega Manectric, just be sure to watch out for M-Alakazam, it's the only other mega with 150 speed. (M-Manectric has 135)

I have a Jolly Mega Aerodactyl and I kinda regret it. I feel that when it really matters, it does too little damage—while it effortlessly outspeeds everything anyway.

Megactyl is basically a sligthly stronger and faster Aerodactyl. Problem is standard Aerodactyl is a really mediocre pokémon.

The ironic thing is that if it got Head Smash and/or Brave Bird, the standard one would be better because of Rock Head. It would basically be Aggron with 130 base speed.

Sky Drop in Double Battles can get rid of a partner Pokemon's threat while possibly dodging one. Sky Drop could also buy you an extra turn to inflict Burn/Poison damage inflicted by an ally.

Well obviously. How about something like Hone Claws/Stone Edge/Aerial Ace (or some fang move if you're looking for better coverage)/EQ?

Dragon Dance or even Swords Dance would be a fucking godsend for this thing, although the bonus accuracy from Hone Claws paired with Stone Miss is nice.

Then his Mega would be useless.

At least Mega Scizor, Mega Garchomp and Mega Alakazam have some sort of niche but Mega Aerodactyl would be extremely useless if it got Brave Bird or Head Smash.
