They remade the first two generation because they weren't compatible with gen3 games. If we are going to have a game in Hoenn, it will be a new game, not a remake.

You know what? That only applies to the first generation since you were not able to collect all 386 Pokémon in the third generation without the remakes. But what reason was there to remake HGSS? You could import all 386 from your third generation.
