It's a long process that will take 48 episodes to accomplish, but here goes.

Episode 1: Bullied male Kirlia wants to be a hero like in his children's cartoons. Stuff happens and he gets dragged into trouble. Somehow, a Dawn Stone falls into his hands and he transforms into the heroic Gallade!
Episode 2: Gallade uses his new found typing to punish the evildoers of the previous episode. He found that he can't change back!
Episodes 3-8: Monster-of-the-week shenanigans.
Episode 9-10: The mysterious Bisharp appears and aids Gallade against a foe that proved to be too strong. Two-parter that ends with Gallade getting an upgrade (Psycho Cut.)
Episodes 11-22: More monster-of-the-week with Bisharp appearing sometimes.
Episodes 23-24: Antagonists reveal themselves to be an elite group of 4 dragons that want to destroy the world. Bisharp and Gallade officially team up and ends with Gallade getting two new moves (Leaf Blade and Bisharp's special Night Slash.)
Episodes 25-38: Upgraded monster-of-the-week.
Episode 39: Endgame starts.
Episodes 40-46: The pair fight the 4 dragons.
Episode 47: It is revealed that there is a mon behind the mon, who happens to be an old friend of Bisharp! The final battle begins!
Episode 48: The pair defeat the final villain in an awesome splash of explosions and glory. The ending is a tearjerker because it wasn't without its losses (Bisharp dies with his old friend...) Gallade lives on as a hero of justice that also happens to be excellent for Pokemon catching.

1) Get a Gallade
2) Forget about it and get a Parasect
3) Teach it Spore, False swipe, X-Scissor or Leech Life if you are afraid it's too strong, Thief (all are lvl up/TM)

-Gastro Acid/Mean Look
-False Swipe/Hold Back

Soak cuts immunities, Gastro Acid cut abilities. Spore and whittle its health down to 1. Mean Look is for roamers, but we don't have any in XY yet
*be careful with self-hitters (recoil/self-confusing moves*

choice scarf smeargle with selfdestruct/explosion, roar/whirlwind, teleport and imprison

I have a legit Smeargle that I trained in SS that knows Spore, Block, Ingrain, and False Swipe. No Pokemon could escape him, and killing him was a bitch because of Ingrain.

I didn't bother with Pokemon Bank because I was busy last month, so I might have to pay the $5 a year fee so I can import old 'mons. Guess my apathy cost me a few bucks. Oh well.

Picking Gallade over Smeargle for the purpose of Pokemon catching is more of giving oneself a decent reason to have favourite Pokemon on team at all times.

If GF finally starts giving a shit about making Gallade competitively viable and does just so, I can assure you that Smeargle is going to have Pokemon catching field all to itself forever more.
