If you're gonna be changing the soundtrack every goddamn time you wanna not walk, then as sure as shit it shouldn't be something that makes you mute the game.

Gen six's bike tune is horrifying, and Gen V's is pretty awful too. Got me a think:

Given the chance, would you use a "soundtrack select" feature (a la HGSS' gb sounds) if it was implemented? You could unlock different soundtracks for different, repetitive situations, so that you could select between pokemon centre tunes, city tunes, route tunes, etc. just to vary up the soundscape.
