They can make me bitter for a while but I've learned to just shrug them off and enjoy whatever you're into away from all the shitty fans and just learn how to avoid the awful stuff as much as possible.
Except when it comes to TPP because that shit's impossible to avoid. ALL HAIL LE KING HELIX xDDDDPokemon has such a large and diverse demographic that there's really no worry over being perceived a certain way just because you're a fan of a specific character, except in smaller online communities.
