Alright veepee, give us something you genuinely like about each gen and something you genuinely hate about each gen. Then, put them in order from most favorite to least favorite.

>Gen 1

>Love:
It started everything out. It also brought in some of my favorite Pokemon

>Hate:
In comparison to the newer games, it is definitely the worst. Also, Kanto is shit.

>Gen 2

>Love:
Brought some nice elements to the game and some great Pokemon

>Hate:
It's just a Gen 1 expansion pack

>Gen 3:

>Love:
In my opinion, Hoenn was one of the greatest regions ever. It felt like a tropical resort, in contrast to the typical"normal" climates in other gens. Also, the Battle Frontier and contests.

>Hate:
The level scaling was always odd no matter how many times I played. Also, I honestly didn't care about Secret Bases. Needing a pokemon with Hidden Power was just annoying.

>Gen 4

>Love:
Introduced the Special/Physical split. I also really loved Sinnoh as a region in general. The mining equipment was fun too, and the return of the Battle Frontier and contests. Also, the climate and terrain in the game feels different as well.

>Hate: The Pokemon it introduced were pretty mediocre.

>Gen 5

>Love:
One of the most complete games ever to be released, and then some. Great pokemon and great story. Almost the perfect Pokemon game.

>Hate:
BW2 was infinitely better than BW that I felt dumb for buying the first one when BW2 was already released.

>Gen 6:

>Love:
Great pokemon, great music, great transition to 3D. Also, Pokemon Amie.

>Hate:
Kalos is absolutely awful as a region; it's just a big hunk of boring which makes it even more similar to France
