Zapdos raised to OU meaning its only good counter is gone. It was really strong and the UU council wants to ban anything that's potentially broken, and then test them to see if they're okay. It's like the reverse of normal suspect testing.

Well Hawlcuha is like that, except is has nearly flawless coverage with its two high-powered STABs alone and doesn't need rain. Plus, UU has like no good priority users.

I'm more pissed off about Hydreigion getting the BL axe. Was it really so hard for people to carry literally any Fairy attack? Jesus fucking christ.

It was great on my team, too. A good mixed attacker with useful immunities and resistances, and the rest of my team kept its own weaknesses in check.

Where the hell else am I going to find a Psychic/Ground immune mixed attacker that resists Electric?

Why is Crawdaunt BL? I've tried using one both in-game at the Battle Maison and wifi battles, and on Showdown and it's just too slow and frail to be good. I know it had DD to improve its Speed, but its initial Speed sucks.

Its Knock Offs hit friggin hard.

Chesnaught is about the only UU pokemon capable of switching into it multiple times in a match. As well as Mega Aggron but only if it previously mega evolved, else it gets wrecked by crab hammer. And if it's dragon dance its crabhammer can 2HKO, and remember this is a pokemon with the most physical bulk in the game.

BL is like the no-man's land.

It's the worst fate a poor poke can suffer. Too good for UU means that it won't be getting any use there, but not good enough for OU means it won't be getting any use there either. Even the ubers have their own tier to compete in, who the fuck is going to use BL pokemon seriously?

A pokemon with as cool of a design as Hawlucha didn't deserve this, man.

Most of the stuff in BL is useful in OU, it's just that they didn't make the cut off because people didn't use them. Salamence is pretty good but Mega Gardevoir is getting some use in SPL and it's hovering just below the 3.41% cutoff anyway. Staraptor is great on bird spam teams, Diggersby can be super hard to handle, Magnezone can trap stuff, etc.

Mega Gardevoir is good though. Of all of BL pokemon the only ones that are bad/outclassed in OU are Salamence, Mega Houndoom, Hawlucha, Haxorus, and Weavile (to an extent.)
