With serebii, just a quick glance lets me know if there's any news that I might care about. The images help a lot.
It also helps to identify news that I already saw, or the ones I might have skipped, because of the images and simple layout.
Bulba's wiki-like appearance seems to be overflowing with information that I might not care about, thus I'd have to search for any news. Too many distractors.
On the bright side, on a lazy day, I'd prefer the latter to aimlessly look through articles.
