those are the IDs that get send to the server to apply hax. Essentially, you can use a memory editor like cheat engine and first check off a cheat you want to apply, look at the corresponding ID, search it in cheat engine, and change it to another id.. then apply cheat and viola!

Basically, yea.. Although the cheats are still on their servers.. they just arent on the client anymore.. so you can still obtain them by hacking the client.

Not OP but you open up the powersaves.exe in cheat engine and search the value of the item you ticked. Like if you want to get Latiasite you select any other item (Let's say Garchompite) and search for the value that's attached to it which is 5827. Change that value to 5829, check the Active box in CE and then apply the codes like you would normally without changing anything else in powersaves. Fairly simple process.

I'm just curious why one would bother to obtain something that would eventually come. Especially when they attempted to stop it by turning off the code.

The thought about backing up save file is nice and dandy, but it just doesn't sound quite right when I need to get online to make use of it.

Note that your save backup isn't insurance if you lose/damage your game cartridge. 3DS saves can't be restored to cartridges other than the one that the save is from.

Americans only get a fourth of the Japanese events at best and mostly not even that.
Europeans only get half of what America has and every other region has basically nothing.
Well, besides Korea.
