I guess what really makes people think the design feel crowded is the love-it-or-hate-it tongue scarf, but now that i see the tongue-less version, i realize that underneath, the design is pretty darn simple and more froglike that i was willing to admit. In the end, i guess all the concepts used only add to the ninja motif the froakie line has, and i guess using part of it's frog anatomy as an accesory that can also fill that motif is both creative fitting and somewhat more believable than those other random accesory wearing pokemon like Machoke's belt or Throh's and Sawk's clothes.I think it would be beneficial for /vp/ to see more of these concept arts or at least see questionably designed pokes in movement so that we can come to terms on some we might consider "bad" or unfavourable.
